After the the holiday season it is hard to spend money on your scrapping wants and desires! Christine and I both know it is a hard thing to do!

Here is a tip...look in your local stores clearance aisles.  

Target....Walmart...Dollar Tree....Micheal's...JoAnne's

Don't just look for scrapbook items as your local scrapbook store. 

Look for items in the clearance isles and dollar stores. Think outside the box!

Sequins, ribbons, paper bags,etc. are often not in the normal craft aisles you might travel down.  

Just recently, Christine was at Michael's and purchased a package of rhinestones which normally sells for $1.99, but since it was after the holiday season it rang up for only 10 cents!

I always look online for coupons, more often than not, I will find one or two to use.  

Sign up for emails from you favorite craft stores too!  Sometimes you will freebies like free cardstock!  Now if you are a crafter...who can't use free paper!

Old McDonald had a farm! E-I-E-I-O

This is the latest and greatest creation from Designer, Christine  Marting!  Too cute.  This album will be on Ebay in the next week or two so keep a look out!  It promises to include all the barn yard animals you love!  Great album for a farm visit, baby shower gift, the farmer in your family.....we can keep the suggestions going....

1. We will be launching weekly video webinars! Little snippets of us! We are so excited, you will be able to see what Crabby Cakes Studios looks like for Bobbi and Christine. We already are planning our snippets to help with organization, card making, product reviews and demoing craft techniques in 2010! So keep a look out on Facebook,Twitter, YouTube.com and of course here!

2. Interactions with you in 2010! More blog entries for you to read and follow! We promise Crabby Cakes Studio blog spot will be a daily destination for you to visit. Our goal will be to be to keeping you up-to-date and informed of all things Crabby!

3. We are almost ready to launch our Crabby Cakes Studio merchandise! Yes,you too can have your very own Crabby Cakes coffee mug and t-shirts! Who would love to have a shirt "Turning Crabby Into Happy!" ? Merchandise will be available on the CrabbyCakesStudio.com website.

4. The count down has begun for our launching of Crabby Cakes Studio albums and die cuts especially for the LGBT community. This has been our pride and joy, Bobbi and Christine have been working on all of 2009 to launch this scrapbook speciality.
